New to Church?

DSC05787

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Churches.

Where & when does the church meet?

We are one parish, with 4 churches. See here for more information on our four churches.

What should I expect when I visit a service?

A warm welcome!   A typical service will have hymns / songs, prayers (including prayer for local and national affairs), and a talk from one of our leaders on the Bible passage linked to our current sermon series. There is opportunity for private prayer, or prayer with one of our prayer ministry team at the end. Refreshments are served after the services.

What happens to the children at church?

We have a fantastic programme at St Peter & St Paul, for children and young people. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service, and join their group after around 10-15 minutes. On a first visit, you will need to go with your children and register them.
For more information  please see Youth, Children & Family
.

How long will the service take?
A Morning Service typically lasts about an hour.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
