Promoting a safer church

The Bible directs us to ‘speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable’ (Proverbs 31: 8)

The care & protection of children, young people & vulnerable adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the Church.

To promote a safer Church environment and culture, the PCC appoints PSO’s to take special responsibility for safeguarding and to work with the Vicar & others as a team. 

Contacting the safeguarding team is confidential unless there is risk of harm to anyone.
