Here in the Parish of St Peter & St Paul we see the discipleship of our children and young people as vital to the life of our churches. We show them spiritual values through teaching and Bible stories, worship and prayer. We want our children and young people to develop into mature Christian adults, so we give them our time and energy both on Sundays and in the week:

Tiny Acorns

What? Tiny Acorns is a friendly, supportive and relaxed group for babies under one. We sit round, chat, eat cake and enjoy watching our babies relax and interact with others their own age. It's a great chance to make friends, have a laugh and get support and sympathy from others. We run all the year round and would love to meet you and your baby.

For more information visit our Facebook page.

When? Wednesdays, 10:30-Noon in the Upper Foyer at St Peter & St Paul.
Who? Under 1s and their carers.

Teddies

What? A friendly group for babies, toddlers and their parents/carers with a baby area, toys for pre-school children, craft, singing time and story time.  Hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits are available to buy. £1 for one child or £1.50 for two or more children; new people always welcome.

For more information visit our Facebook page.

When? Tuesdays, 9:30-11am during term time in the Upper Rooms of St Peter & St Paul.
Who? Pre-school children and their carers

Sunday Club

What? Sunday Club is our main discipleship group for children, where we look at the Big Picture of the Bible and how we fit into it. We have lots of fun looking at stories, playing games, singing songs, making crafts and more following our specially tailored Sunday Club syllabus. We gather to spend time altogether and in smaller groups where we can explore things at an age-appropriate level.

During the COVID-19 outbreak Sunday Club has migrated online and we also have weekly family activity sheets available that follow our Sunday Club syllabus - a link to them is on the YCF ministry homepage. Additional material for our online Sunday Club sessions can be found here.

When? During the normal morning services at St Peter & St Paul and St Philip's church / Sundays at 3pm on our YouTube channel (during the lockdown)
Who? All those aged 3 to school year 5

Fun Club

What? Fun Club is an after-school club that we run at Cage Green in conjunction with High Hopes, one of our local mission partners. We play games, have a snack, have a story from the Jesus Storybook Bible, have a 'wondering time' and make crafts. If you have or know a child in Key Stage 1 who attends Cage Green Primary School why not tell them about it and for more info you can contact the YCF team or ask the school office.

When? Mondays, 3:15-4:15pm (during term time) at Cage Green Primary School.
Who? Any pupil in years 1 and 2 (Key Stage 1).

Holiday Club

What? For over ten years we've hosted a Summer Holiday Club in the Parish, starting at St Peter & St Paul and in recent years we've expanded to St Saviour to cater for a greater age-range of children. We have fun playing games, singing songs, making crafts, watching drama sketches and hearing about the amazing story of the Bible and its central figure, Jesus Christ.

Should we make it out of lockdown in time plans are afoot for this year's Holiday Club with details to be released in due course. If we're still stuck at home though we'll be trying something a little different and, dare we say, adventurous and exciting! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.

When? This year it's planned to be 27th - 30th July at St Peter & St Paul and St Saviour (if we're allowed out) or online (if we're still stuck indoors)
Who? Those who are age 3 to school year 6
